International Fund Service Analyst C Grade

The purpose of this role is to support the ongoing development of Friends Provident International?s (FPI) range of fund solutions by supporting the International Fund Services activity across all regions and platforms.

The key accountabilities of the role are: Proposition Liaising with third parties (both internal and external), to assist in the production and maintenance of support information to promote the funds proposition Support Investment Development activities to enhance FPI fund offerings to the international customer base Fund Events Sending monthly emails to fund groups in respect of fund changes, logging responses, chasing non responders and provide MI reporting Monitoring the fund event mailbox, including the checking of daily and weekly custodian reports and performing other regular fund event checks Assessing incoming fund events from fund groups, 3rd parties or internally for International mirror fund exposure and distributing to the wider business Logging new and maintaining existing items on the fund changes log and providing overall support to the Fund Events Governance International area To support the Fund Actions Manager Int?l and Fund Services Manager Int?l and members of those teams when requested for all fund related changes (inc launches, suspensions, closures etc) for the FPI governed mirror fund range Processes and MI Ensure that the current process documents are strictly followed within agreed timescales with regard to all fund related tasks Provide MI and process timelines on request Skills & Experience required Essential: Qualifications Courses undertaken such as Powerpoint / Excel / Word, etc Skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Self motivated and able to take initiative and problem solve Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well across all levels Team oriented player Good data management skills Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines Knowledge Current affairs and investment market Experience 2 years working in an asset management company or life company Experience managing several complex tasks over short and medium term timeframes; Data management Desirable: Qualifications University degree Knowledge Some knowledge of collective investment schemes or fund valuations / dealing in the offshore market would be a distinct advantage.
